Date set for start of wheelie bin and food waste collections

The new waste collections in South Holland, which will include wheelie bins and waste collections, is set to go live on Monday, November 9.

Document submitted to the Lincolnshire Waste Partnership state that’s when South Holland District Council will start weekly food, bi-weekly general waste and four-weekly recycling and card collections.

The documents also claim that ‘97 per cent of streets have a clearly identifiable space for bins and suitable points for waste collection’ and that a more detailed assessment’ will be carried out for the remainder.
