Darts round-up: Tigers A bounce back from rare defeat to reach final of Supreme Cup

It was cup night in the D Brown Builders Spalding and District Darts League on Monday evening.

In the Supreme Cup, Tigers A bounced back from last week’s league loss to beat Tigers C 7-2 and reach the final.

Singles wins for Scott Williams, Craig Twell, Dan Carnell and Duggie Mcinerney were enough to seal the victory.

Simon Hill and McInerney both hit a 180 in that one, while the latter also had a 15-dart-leg.

In the Dick Morgan Cup, Royal Mail Cart B sealed their place in the final with a 6-3 win over Abbey Hotel.

Dan Wheatley, Paul Faulkner, Dean Chapman, Martin Broderick and Chris Hollands all won in that one.

They will play the unbeaten Consti C in the final after their 5-4 win against Drayman’s Arms.

The unbeaten Nic Savic defeated Ian Tilley to seal that victory, while Martin Petit made seven scores of 100 or more.

In the Kelly Foster Cup last eight, Punchbowl – for who Andy Taylor hit a 180 – beat Palmers Long Sutton 5-4 in another close game. They will face Maples.

In the top half of the draw Tigers B won 6-3 against Bell Weston Hills, while Rose and Crown won 7-2 against Consti D to set up their semi.
