Clubbing together for food bank

A group of golfers have raised a hole lot of money for a local food bank.

There are 14 members at Spalding Golf Club who meet every Thursday to play.
When they meet they pay 50p a week, and every year donate profits to a local charity.
This year’s total was £425 which went to the Agape Food Bank in Spalding.
Bob Radcliffe is one of those who plays in the group and he recently presented a cheque to the food bank’s Irene Davies.
“We’ve been doing this for 40 years,” said Bob of the group. “Having seen the good work that Agape does we realised it was something we needed to support.”
