Child sex case for 69-year-old man is sent to crown court

A 69-year-old man accused of three child sex offences has had his case sent to crown court for trial by jury.

Terence George Grimshaw is charged with engaging a 15-year-old girl – not reasonably believing she was aged 16 or over – in sexualised role play.

He is also said to have made 52 category C and 11 category B indecent photographs of a child (category A is the most serious) between February 27, 2011 and February 1, 2013.

Grimshaw, of Carrington Drive, Hop Pole, Deeping St Nicholas, also faces a charge of possessing four images of a person having intercourse with a dog.

The defendant denies all the charges and is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday, October 27. He is on bail with the condition that he has no unsupervised contact with anyone aged 16 or under.
