If your children are looking for something fun and exciting to keep them occupied on a Saturday morning, then the “Alien Orchestra” could be the answer.
Held weekly at St Margaret’s Hall, Quadring, the workshops run from Saturday, September 26 to December 19 and give youngsters the chance to learn to play tuned percussion and perform in the orchestra, along with singing, dancing, acting and stagecraft.
The workshops run from 10.30am to noon and are suitable for boys and girls aged five to 12 years.
Also for young people aged between 13 and 18, there is a chance to join the project as “young music leaders” to help them develop leadership skills and build their confidence.
The cost is £1 per child, per session and everyone is welcome.
No previous experience is needed and you will make new friends and have lots of fun.
All places must be booked in advance by calling 01775 841750 or emailing [email protected]
