Celebrating 40 years at hospital

A woman who has worked at Holbeach Hospital for 40 years has been thanked for her service to the community.

Diana Bailey worked at the community-owned hospital even before it was taken over by the Holbeach and East Elloe Trust in 1989.

Since that time she’s been a secretary for the Trust and has continued to service the hospital and the community since.

Now Diana is retiring the Trust put on a special celebration for her at the hospital on Monday, January 13.

The hospital trust’s Rebecca Atkinson said: “Dianne was presented with many cards and gifts to celebrate her retirement and is planning lots of holidays and activities in her retirement.”
