Caring Cara’s a cut above

A six-year-old from Spalding has had hair cut short for The Little Princess Trust.

Cara Smart-Waterfall became interested in wigs after watching the Netflix show Alexa and Katie where they were mentioned.

Mum Norma Smart showed her You Tube videos about them including what the Little Princess Trust do for young people who have experienced hair loss due to ill health.

Norma said it was a turnaround from Cara who had previously spent three years growing her hair long ‘like Rapunzel’.

But last week’s big cut at The Little Salon in Moulton with Stephanie Lakey proved a big success.

Cara was also able to raise £100 for the charity.

Norma, said: “Cara loves her new look and is very happy.”
