Captain Allen leads line for goal-hungry Crowland

Captain Ethan Allen grabbed a hat-trick and five other players were on the scoresheet as Crowland Town shot up to fourth place in the Premier Division of the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League with an 8-1 demolition of Holbeach United Reserves.

The other goals came from Adam Blackbird, Lee Jackson, Archie Rickards, Harry Tidswell and substitute Juliano Resta.
Ashley Coddington and Declan Earth were on target for Moulton Harrox in their 2-0 victory over Sawtry, which kept the reigning champions on the tails of the early-season front runners.
Karol Narojczyk helped himself to a hat-trick in Pinchbeck-based Peterborough Polonia’s 7-0 win over Stamford Belvedere Reserves in Division Two.
Revived Tydd enjoyed a 3-1 success at home to Stamford Lions with first-half goals from Marley Hamilton 2 and Jordi Henson, while Xennon Paul also netted a brace in Crowland Town Reserves’ 3-1 victory at Netherton Reserves.
Crowland’s Sunday side went two goals and one scorer better in their 9-2 victory over Peterborough International Sports with Allen adding a double to his Saturday treble. This time he was joined on the goals list by Joe Strickland 2, Finlay Henderson, Sam Leggatt, Matt Smith, Keelan Walker and Toby Clegg.
Warren Hebblethwaite grabbed all three of South Holland United’s goals in their 3-2 win over Murrow Bell 2007.
* Thurlow Nunn League side Pinchbeck United were without a match in the last week but have been drawn at home to Bourne Town in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire County FA Senior Trophy, following their earlier penalty
shoot-out victory over Deeping Rangers.
The tie will be played at the Sir Halley Stewart Field on Tuesday, November 19, 7.45pm.
