Brittain and Bingham land town club title

On what would have been Wimbledon finals weekend Spalding Tennis Club held their new annual club doubles championships competition which was enjoyed by 28 members on a warm Sunday afternoon.

Ben Brittain and Hayden Bingham managed to beat father and son pair Adam and Noah Freeman 5-1 in a tightly contested final.

A spokesman for the club said: “It was so good to see so many young players mixing with everyone.

“This is what the club needs as they are the future and wow can they play, it’s just amazing.”
