Bourne go seven points clear

Leaders Bourne SC marched on at the top of the Spalding & District League with a 7-0 away whitewash of Consti B.

That pushed them seven points clear after second-placed Holbeach A fell 5-2 at home to Pyramid A, who moved up to third spot.
Ben Harding (r10) put the hosts ahead with a break of 26 but, despite breaks of 53, 42, 33, 25 (x2) and 21, Mick Cooper (o200) lost to Reegan Cooke-Holmes (r80).
John Twell (r70) hit a break of 20 on his way to settling things.
Donington moved out of the bottom two thanks to a 5-2 victory over Gosberton, who had led through Marcus Pell (o40).
Nigel Brasier (r70) and Tony Scully (r40) secured the win with breaks of 20 and 27 respectively. Shane White (o40) struck breaks of 29 and 25 but lost his match.
Holbeach B hit back from behind to win 5-2 at Pyramid B thanks to Andy Spearman (r80) and Neil Harvey (r50). Maurice Phillipson (r70) had put the hosts ahead.
