The top two teams in Division A of the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck & District Summer League met for the first time this season and it was the Lincoln Arms A who came out victorious.
A close game saw them emerge 15-12 victors over Services Club B to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Services’ Ben Chester hit a 180 in his 2-1 win against Paul Blow, while Andy Bingham 180 for the Lincoln against Ady Smith helped him to a 2-1 win.
There was a 14-dart leg for in-form Jimmy Tenno and Steve Gaughan cleared in 17 for the Lincoln side.
Consti Club C continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 15-12 victory over the Consti Club Z.
Ted Howling had a 100 checkout but that did not stop him losing his game 2-1 to Dan Merrill.
There were 180s for Calum Ward and Rob Green from the Z team.
Green Dragon A recorded their first win of the season with a comprehensive 20-7 thrashing of Lincoln Arms C.
Shayne Hubbard hit a 180 and a 13-dart leg to star for the Dragon side.
The highlight in Division B was Lisa Brooks hitting a 171 (3xT19) for the Consti Club D in her game against Michael Harrison of the Drayman’s Arms A. Unfortunately that was not enough to stop her losing 2-1, although the Consti side did come out 17-10 winners. Shane Thorpe threw a 109 checkout for the Drayman’s side.
There was a 17-dart leg for Kev Newton of the Drayman’s Arms B in their win against Consti Club A.

Abbey trio pull off triples title shock
There were shock winners in the Spalding & District League’s triples competition on Monday.
The triples are split with Division One having its own tournament and Divisions Two and Three having a separate one between them.
The winner of each plays off in the final to find the overall triples winner.
The Ye Olde Abbey trio of Dean Parker, JJ Bird and Elliot Capper won the Division Two/Three section and then went on to win the grand final against Division One winners Claire Brookin, Gary Mace and Dan Carnell of the Rose and Crown.
On the same night, the ladies and mixed pairs were played off to see who would be successful and reach the finals night.
The ladies singles final will be between Lindsey Wingell (Consti D) and Sharon Barnard (Lincoln B).
In the mixed pairs, John Charlton and Lesley Chamberlain (Lincoln B) will play against father and daughter duo Mark Horspool and Casey Hill (Tigers C).
