Long Sutton are on-course for their third Spalding and District Billiards League title on the spin after going top on Monday night.
They beat Consti A 7-0 to move two points clear – with a game in hand – thanks to frame wins from Adam Barwell (O50), Mark Timms (R40) and Mick Cooper (O60).
A 36 break from Cooper and Timms’ unfinished 34 were the highlights.
Crowland A slip to second after they were beaten 5-2 at Pyramid A.
Eric Wyer (R50) – who made breaks of 21 and 20 – and John Twell (R50) managed the wins for the Bourne side.
The best break of the week came from Crowland B maestro Rob Childs in a 7-0 win over Holbeach B. The O210 handicapper made a super 61 as he beat Denis Hix (R70) 200-126.
Mick Johnson (O170) also starred with a 58 break as his Consti B side edged out Pyramid B 4-3.
Team-mate Steve Spencer (R90) was Consti’s other winner and made a 20 break.
Elsewhere, Donington were 7-0 winners at Gosberton B with Neil Reynolds (O20) pocketing breaks of 23 and 20.
