Big weekend of festival and fair in Holbeach

The weather was perfect for a big weekend in Holbeach with both the Parish Fair and the town’s Food Festival attracting crowds.

The food festival saw an array of tasty delights on Carter’s Park with everything from curry to chocolate.

Holbeach Town Band was on-hand to provide musical accompaniment along with local singer Mick Mepham.

There was free entry for visitors for the fifth annual event on Saturday and the Parish Fair, held on Sunday, had been organised to make it a whole weekend of events in Holbeach.

Face painting proved to be a popular attraction for the young visitors over both days.

All weekend the Holbeach Town Action Team were handing-out questionnaires to find out more about aspirations for the town.
