Big donation for children’s centre

A Spalding charity has been donated 22 bags of brand new clothes to be distributed by Spalding Children’s Centre.

The company closing an online clothing site, had 22 bags of stock it didn’t need and was aware of Ella’s Project.
The charity, run by Mark Le Sage and named after his daughter, frequently collects items for those less fortunate, including presents at Christmas and chocolate eggs at Easter.
After receiving the bags, the charity passed them on to the Spalding Children’s Centre.
Mark said: “We are exceptionally grateful for a recent donation of brand new Scandinavian clothes that came from a business that had unfortunately decided to close its doors.
“Our volunteers worked each evening last weekend sorting the 22 bags into the relevant children’s sizes and last week we were able to pass them on to the staff at Spalding Chidrens Centre that cares for children throughout South Holland and The Deepings.
