Big Belper beating puts skids on Spalding RFC’s super start

Spalding RFC suffered a hefty 43-5 defeat at Belper in their second game of the Midlands Three East (North) season on Saturday.

After thrashing Bakewell in their season opener, Town had hoped to make it back-to-back victories in Derbyshire.

But the hosts bagged a bonus-point win to leave the Elephants licking their wounds.
