Staff at a Spalding practice have been ‘highly commended’ for their medical service.
Beechfield Medical Centre picked up the recognition in the Primary Care Team of the Year award at the first ever Lincolnshire Primary Care Awards.
Melissa Lawson, practice manager said: “We are incredibly grateful to receive this recognition.
“Our team works so hard every day to deliver a high standard of care to our patients, but they also offer compassion and support to each other behind the scenes.”
There were also long service awards presented by NHS Lincolnshire chief executive John Turner.
For Beechfield staff that included recognising 40 years of service to advanced nurse practitioner Debra Cooper and 30 years for dispensary manager Sara Harris and cardiovascular disease specialist nurse Anne Coddington.
