Appeal over ‘possible road rage incident’

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information about a ‘possible road rage incident’ which saw one vehicle hit a garden wall.

The force says it believes that from 9am yesterday (Saturday, September 30) there were numerous incidents between a gold Peugeot 404 and a white Transit Connect Van with a report they collided along the A16 between Pinchbeck and the A151 McDonald’s roundabout before the van hit a garden wall in Holland Road, Spalding.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to incidents involving two motorists at various locations in the south of the county on Saturday, September 30.

“At around 9am our Force Control Room received a report that a possible road rage incident had taken place involving a gold Peugeot 407 and a white Transit Connect van.

“It is believed there were incidents involving the vehicles possibly colliding with each other on the A16 near the industrial estates at Pinchbeck, the A151 near to McDonald’s, and finally in Holland Road, Spalding where the van collided with a garden wall.

“The vehicles then both left the scene.

“Anyone who saw the vehicles at any of the locations mentioned above, or who has any information that may be able to help our investigation, please get in touch.
