Another Lithuanian food store in Spalding in trouble for criminal activity

Non-duty paid cigarettes and drink were seized during a multi-agency raid on a Lithuanian shop in Spalding.

Five hundred Marlboro Gold and ten bottles of spirit were taken from Lietuviškas skonis in Holbeach Road on Tuesday last week (April 25).
The raid followed a test purchase of goods.

Sgt Kim Enderby, of Lincolnshire Police’s alcohol licensing team, said South Holland District Council will be asked to conduct a review of the premises licence.

The raid came the day before a scheduled premises review hearing for another Lithuanian food store in Spalding which had a “industrial-sized” cannabis growing operation discovered in its basement.
