Air ambulance in Holbeach after man injured in ‘industrial incident’

A man has been injured in what police have described as an “industrial incident” in Holbeach this morning (Wednesday).

Park Road is currently closed and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance in attendance reported at around 10.45am.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “Emergency services attended and Park Road was closed just after 11:30am. A man in his 40s sustained injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.”

A spokesperson for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, said: “We attended an industrial incident and landed at Holbeach United Football Ground.

“The patient was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land escorted on board by LNAA doctor and HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) paramedic team.”
