Air ambulance forced to land at Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field after Spalding crash

The air ambulance has been at the scene of an accident in Spalding today (Wednesday).

The accident, which involved at least one car, took place at the traffic lights near the junction of New Road and Westlode Street.

A man has been injured and the air ambulance was forced to land on Spalding’s Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field at around 1pm, with nearby roads closed.

Police are appealing for witnesses who have not already spoken to officers at the scene to call 101, quoting incident number 189 of 23rd August.
