Agents in Long Sutton pack Santa’s suitcase

Children in Lincolnshire will receive a special Christmas present next week thanks to a Long Sutton travel agent and their Santa’s Suitcase initiative.

The town’s branch of Lincolnshire Co-op travel have been collecting toys to be handed out by Lincolnshire County Council’s children services to those that might otherwise not receive a present this Christmas.

Branch manager Jane Peacock, said: “The generosity from the public, in and around Long Sutton has been amazing.

“We have been doing this for at least 15 years and each year the support grows.

“Times are tough, especially this time of the year, which makes it all the more special.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has donated.”
