A16 closed near Springfields

The A16 is currently closed just outside Spalding.

Lincolnshire Police have closed the route between its junction with Wardentree Lane and the A151 near Springfields and McDonald’s.

Lincolnshire Police say it follows a three vehicle collision at the A151 junction.

A spokesman said: “The road has been closed while emergency services are at the scene. “

Traffic was already busy in the area with the more westerly part of Wardentree closed due to water main works and temporary traffic lights on Pinchbeck Road nearby.
