A fun day of tennis for all involved in Spalding’s Mary Burgess Cup

Spalding Town Tennis Club’s talented juniors enjoyed taking part in the annual Mary Burgess Cup over the weekend.

There were joint winners of the under-14 competition at Holyrood Walk, with Charles Dallas and Luke Orton taking the top prize.

Meanwhile, Neil Melaklina was the under-10 winner.

• Spalding member Hayden Bingham was part of the Lincolnshire under-18 team who took part in a county competition in Scotland.

Lincolnshire beat the Isle of Man, but lost close games against Oxfordshire and South of Scotland.
