A fair bit of fun for pupils thanks to Lions

Pupils from several schools were treated to all the fun of the fair by Spalding Lions last week.

Roger Tuby and Son’s Fun Fair returned to the town as it has every May Day Bank Holiday for years.

And on Thursday, May 3 pupils from the Chapel Centre, Gosberton House and the Garth and Priory Schools were gifted a free go at all the amusements.

It’s something that the Spalding Lions do for the pupils every year and it always proves popular with the youngsters.

The group’s community services officer, Richard Pacey, said: “It was a really good occasion that was well attended.

“The atmosphere was great and it went really well.

“Mr Tuby again very kindly opens the fair up for us and the children and we wouldn’t be able to do it without him.”
