LETTER: Still no visit from the police

Unfortunately the owner of Shear Shak has still not seen anyone from the Lincolnshire Police regarding the break-in or crime prevention nearly three weeks after the event.

I have noticed police presence on Pinchbeck Road opposite, obviously dealing with more pressing matters on the waste land with drugged or drunken individuals, also individuals threatening to jump into the Welland River.

What do law-abiding tax paying Spalding businesses and residents need to do to get help in this area?

We all do our bit to help, I have been cleaning up rubbish for years, now cycling 1,000 miles in the next three months for dementia, then another 500 next year in Africa to help raise money, so don’t tell me about helping lesser individuals.

So I don’t want to hear we need to help all walks of life around Spalding, individuals need to help themselves, we all come into this world with nothing, go out the same way, it’s what you do in the middle that counts.
