Kickboxers’ muddy charity effort

Members of a kickboxing club took on the X-Runner recently for a host of charities.

The group from Sutton Bridge based AKA Kickboxing raised around £900 thanks to donations after running the 10km muddy obstacle course around the National Watersports Centre near Nottingham.

The charities the money will be divided between include the Amy Winehouse Foundation for those struggling with drug or alcohol addiction and Bliss which helps families with premature babies.

The club’s Shaun Maddison said: “It took them around three hours to complete.”
