Thousands of visitors packed Spalding town centre on Sunday for a live music and biker event.
Organised by the Business Improvement District (BID), the event saw more than 5,000 people take advantage of the great weather to enjoy a day out.
Motorcycles of all shapes and sizes could be found in town on Sunday and created a static display as a backdrop to the free event.
“The turnout of bikes on such a hot day was great to see, many bikers travelled quite a distance and what a display they gave us,” said BID manger Sarah Fletcher.
“It would not have been possible without the funding from Spalding businesses in the town centre through the BID levy, so recognition must go to them. To support them and future events like this, please before buying online, we urge you to help our local businesses by adopting a ‘shop local’ approach wherever you can.
“It was really great to see everyone having such a fab time, helping to create a really happy, relaxed but fun day.”
The BID team is planning for Countdown to Christmas and supporting the month-long BBQ67 anniversary festival in May next year.
A whole range of activities including outdoor screennings, classic car show, dog show, local demonstrations, NHS health advice and Celebrate Lincolnshire’s Food and Drink day and the occasional ‘bike night’ are planned.
