Generous members of Tydd St Giles Golf Club made two different donations to charity over the festive period.
The seniors’ section handed over £3,200 to the Papworth Hopsital after this Christmas lunch.
Daniel Saxton, who is head of business services at the hospital, received the cheque from captain Trevor Sewell and thanked the Tydd members for their “fantastic support”.
Seniors’ skipper Sewell added: “Thanks to all for their generosity and support throughout the year and supporting such a good cause.”
Meanwhile, the ladies’ section donated £1,428.73 to support The Cancer Care and Treatment Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
Captain Jackie Maton presented the cheque to fundraising executive Laurence Morlaâs and thanked the ladies for their generosity over the year.
