Concerns expressed for lady last seen in Spalding area

Police have launched an appeal to find a lady who has gone missing from the Spalding area.

Carol Smalley, who is described as being in her mid 50s, was last seen at lunchtime yesterday (Wednesday, 3 January).

Lincolnshire Police launched the appeal for information at 11.40pm yesterday.

This morning Norfolk Police tweeted that they believed Carol may be in the Great Yarmouth area.

A police statement says: “Lincolnshire Police are concerned for the welfare of Carol Smalley.

“Carol is aged in her mid 50s she is described as a white female, about 5 foot 3 inches tall, she has short dark hair and is believed to be wearing a burgundy bobble hat, a beige parka style coat with light coloured jeans and black ankle boots.

“Carol has not been seen since lunchtime today, Wednesday 3rd January in the Spalding area.

“If anyone has seen or knows the whereabouts of Carol please can you contact us on 101 Ref Incident 413 of 3rd January 2018. Thank you
