Members of Spalding Town Tennis Club took part in the Hunstanton Lawn Tennis Tournament recently.
A number of players took the courts and came away successful.
STTC head coach Enoch Annan said: “Highlights from the tournament included Leon Fish’s backhand down the line winner on match point to reach the quarter finals of his men’s doubles event with Cezary Rembracy, Liam and Ryan Bridge’s cool, calm and composed court demeanour, Gavin Staite being the boss of the mixed doubles court and Yin Kiu’s debut singles win.
“Well done to all the players who took part and to the juniors on their first tournament.”
This year saw a great entry of juniors with 12 taking part.
Annan added: “It’s great to see STTC having more junior coming through.”
The club is currently offering a half price discount on membership fees, meaning it’s just £60 for adults, £37.50 for seniors and £15 for juniors.
A club spokesman said: “Come along and play tennis at our friendly club and play on beautiful courts in a safe environment.
“You can be coached by a former international coach and player head coach Enoch Annan.”
