Three local volunteers have been nominated for the Lincolnshire Cricket Collective awards.
The coach of the year honour will go to someone who goes above and beyond to inspire and develop players of all ages and abilities, creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.
Among the seven nominees are Abi Gillespie, of Moulton Harrox CC, and Spalding Town’s Richard Riley.
Moulton’s Michelle Howkins is one of three nominees for the Cricket Collective Champion honour, given to an individual who plays a vital role in making recreational cricket happen by championing the volunteers who bring it to life.
They support and uplift others, helping to recruit new faces, nurture existing volunteers, and create a welcoming, motivated environment where everyone feels valued.
The winners will be announced at the Cricket Collective Celebration event on Saturday, September 26.

Spalding had made 16/1 in their Premier Division match at Bourne when the heavens opened and play was abandoned halfway through the fifth over.
Moulton Harrox were going well in Championship South and had reduced hosts Sleaford to 53/5 before the rain fell with loan player S Martin taking 4-25.
Long Sutton had reached 38/2 at Billingborough in Division One South when their innings was curtailed, while Moulton Harrox Seconds might not have had too many complaints after they were called in at 54/6 under attack from Abdul Moeed (5-21).
In Division Two South, Long Sutton gained five bonus points by bowling out visitors Baston for 113 but were unable to bat themselves. Joe Whitaker (3-12) and Ali Drohan (3-18) did most of the damage.
