Divisional titles all decided

Every division of the Spalding League has now confirmed their champions.

In Division One, Consti A ensured top spot with the win they needed to lift the title and it came in emphatic fashion, seeing off Ye Olde Abbey 9-0.

Sam Roberts had a 116 checkout in his win over JJ Bird and Dave Norbury hit a 120 checkout but lost to Jason Vines. Chris Fidler for Consti A had a 17-dart leg in his win over Ryan Mitchell.
Rose & Crown A secured runners-up spot but lost 5-4 to Consti D. Rose & Crown were 4-1 up but wins for John Robinson, Nick Collins, Steve Rawding and Ady Smith won it for Consti. Tyger Atkin had a 180 in his game but lost to Robinson.

There was a shock elsewhere with Green Dragon A beating Drayman’s A 7-2. Richard Cooper and Ben Laud both hit 180s player of the night was Callum Templeman, who had an 18-dart leg and high checkouts of 100, 105 and 111.

Lincoln Arms A beat Drayman’s B 8-1 and only lost three legs all night. An entertaining evening saw 180s from Tony Spinks, Steve Stancer and Scott Williams. Williams was in fine form and also had a 112 checkout along with a 15-dart leg and an 18-dart leg in the pairs with Jake Merrill. Steve Stancer followed up his 180 with a 17-dart leg and Tony Spink hit a 15-dart leg when he hit his 180.

Rose & Crown C won 7-2 against Royal Mail Cart, Kev Aldhouse had 117 and 118 check outs in his singles win over Conor Clift, Ant Richardson and Logan Goddard had an 18 dart leg in the pairs but player of the night was

Duncan Hunt who hit an 18 dart leg in the pairs with Monty Bunn and had winning legs of 13 and 18 darts in his singles win.

In Division Two Pinchbeck FC A also celebrated pole position in style, beating Riverside A 9-0. The highlight was an 18-dart leg from captain Tom Elderkin and his son Harvey.

Consti E beat Riverside B 5-4 to secure runners-up spot. Paul Blow won the deciding game for Consti and did it with aplomb, firing back to back 180s to be on a perfect nine-dart leg but ending up winning in 13 darts. Mick Atkin and Paul Merril had an 18-dart leg in the pairs, which was helped by Atkin’s score of 174.

Mulberrys won 5-4 against Pinchbeck FC B, with Wigs Harrison hitting five scores of 100 or more in his win.

Holbeach Services B beat Five Bells 5-4 and won the last two games to take the win, thanks to victories from Chloe Wicks and Jamie McHugh.

Holbeach Services A beat Lincoln Arms B 5-4 with a last game win for Chris Blakey against John Charlton to take the points. Andy Palmer and Alex Ward had an 18-dart leg in their pairs win.

Green Dragon B won Division Three without playing as they got a walkover against a team who pulled out the league.

Runners-up spot is still in the air between Moulton Harrox and Pinchbeck C.

Drayman’s Arms C won 5-4 against Tigers A and did it by winning the last three singles games thanks to Jason Chilvers, Rydan Dobney and Tyler Morris.

Riverside C won 6-3 against Spalding Services courtesy of singles wins from Jordan Smith, Jay Vernalls, Chris Scotney and Archie Austen.
