Over 57 per cent of A Levels achieved by Spalding High School students were at A* to B level this year.
Headteacher Michele Anderson said that ‘the majority’ of pupils looking to go to university had achieved well enough to get their first choice.
“We are so proud of our Year 13 students – they have done extremely well,” she said. “Our students have worked incredibly hard and have once again been rewarded with an excellent set of A-Level results.
“These achievements are a testament to their commitment, determination and resilience, as well as the unwavering support of their parents and carers and the dedication of our highly experienced staff. Our students have approached their exams with maturity, positivity and perseverance.
“They deserve great credit for the way they have risen to the challenge and achieved their goals.
“Our staff are also to be highly commended for their expertise, encouragement and tireless efforts in ensuring that students are not only exceptionally well taught but also fully prepared to succeed in their examinations.”
