The free Ayscoughfest music festival is back in Spalding on Saturday (August 15).
Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift tributes will join brilliant local acts including Mia French, Jordan Ravenhill, The Ripsaws and Groove Cartell on the main stage by the Bowling Green.
Visitors looking for a more relaxed atmosphere can head to the Chillout Zone in the Wilderness Garden, where local performers and choirs will be taking to the stage throughout the afternoon.
Families will find plenty to enjoy in the Kids Zone on the South Lawn, with all activities free of charge. Attractions include Tooley’s Traditional Children’s Carousel, arts and crafts activities, face painting, cupcake and biscuit decorating, cheer and tumble workshops, boxing activities and more.
A number of local charities and community organisations will also be attending to raise awareness of their work and support fundraising efforts, including Spalding Flower Parade, Spalding Lions Club, Tonic Health, Going Forward Social Club, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and representatives supporting Project St Thomas.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, blanket or camping chair and spend the day enjoying everything the festival has to offer. Ayscoughfee Hall Café will be open throughout the event, while the popular children’s play area will remain open as usual. The event is alcohol free.
