Controversial plans for 80 new homes in Crowland look likely to go ahead.
The application attracted a raft of objections from residents, including fears about the infrastructure in terms of education and health.
The site is on an allocated site off Normanton Road, and access will come from that road. The development is forecast to generate 44 and 42 two-way vehicle trips in peak hours morning and afternoon.
“The dwellings proposed are, on average, 8.5m tall. Whilst this would mean that dwellings are of a significant height,” says the report.
The dwellings will all have a minimum of two storeys and will have flood resilience construction. There would also be affordable units, including shared ownership.
Further archaeological investigations will be undertaken and there are a host of conditions attached to the approval.
There will be a children’s play area and the details will be discussed at a later date.
The application has previously been put on pause.
