After 44 games, Pinchbeck United’s survival at step six depends on last day results in Division One of the United Counties League.
The Knights and their closest rivals picked up points on Saturday, meaning any two of three teams will be facing district league football in 2026/27.
Pinchbeck sit a point outside the bottom three, thanks to a goalless draw at play-off-bound Coalville Town, extending their unbeaten run to four games as they knuckle down to staying in the league.
That point came thanks to a solid defensive display, with countless saves, blocks and everyone giving 100 per cent for a clean sheet.
At the other end, captain Joe Melson’s 25-yard swerving effort was well saved, while Elliot Foster shot narrowly wide.
All four of the relegation rivals face mid-table teams this Saturday with the Knights knowing only a win at Dronfield Town can guarantee them safety, otherwise, they will be relying on results from elsewhere.
Knights: Martin, Stevens (Callaby), Balding, Melson, Simpson, Brooks, Aldridge (Haywood), Henderson, Foster, Cullen (Gadzia), Ward (Panton). Sub (not used): Shinn. Attendance: 303.
