With no scheduled fixtures this week due to the Easter break, several outstanding matches were played across the Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck and District Winter Darts League – and the results have shaken up the standings, with Royal Mail Cart moving to the top of Division A.
They made full use of their rearranged fixture, hammering Lincoln Arms D 9-0.
Vlad Fomkinas was the only Lincoln player to take a leg, doing so in his 2-1 singles defeat to Ash Allen.
Allen, partnered by Jason Vines, produced a 16-dart leg in their pairs match. Vines added further quality with an 18-dart leg and a 180 in his singles.
Ben Connell and Jack Chilvers also impressed, firing in a 17-dart leg in their pairs match.
The all-Consti derby between Consti Club C and Consti Club B proved a tight contest. Trailing 3-2, the C team turned the match around with wins from Josh Faulkner, Harry Faulkner and Jimmy Robinson, sealing victory before Chris Howling wrapped up the final singles for the B team to give the 5-4 scoreline.
For the B team, Adam Robinson hit a 180, while Stu Ewins checked out on 117.
In Division B, Consti Club Z kept their slim title hopes alive with a 6-3 win at Lincoln Arms C.
After racing into a 6-0 lead, they dropped the final three games, with Nigel Goodwin, Steve Doades and Bernie Coles putting points on the board for the home side.
Coles also produced a tidy 102 checkout.
