LETTERS – Sad not to be part of appeal

Courtyard Footcare Health & Beauty Clinic has been a collection point for the Give a Gift appeal for several years, so I was surprised and disappointed this year not to be included with the appeal, which I now see is run by councillor Mark Le Sage in conjunction with the Voice.

Nevertheless the giving of gifts for less fortunate children in our area was all we ever wanted to achieve to which aim we are donating a bicycle and helmet to the cause and I have directed my loyal clients to the other collection points in the town for their donations.

We are very proud of this charity, which is very close to my heart and will always wish it well.

Maybe next year we can once again be included in the collection points.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone, particularly our loyal clients a merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year

Editor’s note: Coun Le Sage took over organising the appeal in conjunction with The Voice when appeal founder Harry Drury took a step back three years ago. Coun Le Sage’s kind support has allowed the appeal to continue.
