Taste the remedy

Spalding band Keep This Up have released their new single Remedy (for the End).

The five-piece high-energy band have gone even heavier for their 10th release which has been featured on a number of radio stations including BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire.

“Remedy (For The End) was a song written to almost reflect the state of affairs we are currently in, said bassist Chris Hicks. “The world is coming to an end, it feels like no one is coming to save us and there’s no escaping it.

“This is a song that plays as the dust and ashes fall, as the end takes shape.

“This is one of the heavier songs we have done and it pushed us to create something unique.

“It’s a soundscape, a theme and a track that hits hard. We originally had the outline for the track but ended up scrapping the original lyrics, rewriting it and adding texture to create this “end of the world” track.

“We believe it continues to push the boundaries of what we want to write, create and showcase as a band.”

You can listen to it yourself on all streaming platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

“We would love to build a following locally and find more people who like alternative and heavy music.

“It’s for fans of anyone who goes to Download Festival or likes bands like Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Linkin Park and more.

“We bring melodic sing-alongs, hard-hitting breakdowns, fast riffs and raw screams, giving the crowd the most high-energy performance they’ll ever see.”
