Revamp for village store

A new look store is set to open in Donington next week.
Lincolnshire Co-op has taken over the store in Donington’s Market Place.
The store, which was previously run by the Co-op Group, closed for refit on Saturday, November 8.
The £100,000 revamp includes new signage.
When it opens on November 23, it will support local charities through its community champions scheme.
Among those to benefit will be the Ruby Hunt Trust, which runs a pop-in centre in Donington.
Gosberton and Quadring Good Neighbour Scheme will benefit from a donation every time a member uses their dividend card and through collection boxes and colleague fundraising.
There will also be an in-store collection point for the Spalding-based food bank Agape Care.
“We are excited to welcome new members to Lincolnshire Co-op so that more local people can benefit from what we offer,” said a statement from the company.
“Every time our members shop with us, local good causes benefit.”
