It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Springfields Shopping Outlet has announced its Winter Wonderland Walk is returning on Thursday, November 13.

Organisers say this year’s is extended and open an extra weekend.

A spokesman said: “Step into the magic at Springfields as this year, the festive walk expands to over a third of a mile and features brand-new zones like the tree-lined Selfie Street and the enchanting Sea of Stars.

“A dazzling Giant Light Tunnel finale, the longest and widest to date, stretches nearly 40 metres.

“Guests can also look forward to the return of beloved favourites inspired by the magic of Christmas, including the iconic 12-metre-tall Christmas Tree, the enchanting Giant Bauble, a Selfie Sleigh and the serene Momotaro Garden lit for the festive season. Families looking for unique entertainment and picture-perfect moments over the festive season can join the fun from Thursday, November 13 to Tuesday, December 30.

Tickets are £8 for adults and £2 for children.

It will open the day after the Christmas Lights switch on event, which this year sees Coronation Street stars Julia Goulding and Farrel Hegarty switching on the lights.

Adam Whittaker, Retail Marketing Manager at Springfields Designer Outlet, said: “At Springfields, we’re getting ready to once again host one of the best-value Christmas light trails in the county.

“The Springfields Winter Wonderland Walk has become an annual festive tradition for many, and is a must-see for families across the region searching for a magical Christmas shopping experience.

“Our events team are putting the final touches to what looks to be our longest and best walk yet, and visitors of all ages can look forward to an unforgettable experience with new light displays and interactive elements to enjoy.”
