Pyramid F are holding on at the top of Division One of the Spalding and District Snooker League, despite a 4-2 loss to clubmates Pyramid C.
The win pushes the C team up two places into second, just two points behind the leaders.
Richard Skellett (o21) got the ball rolling with a 111-30 win over Mark Gray (o98), before Carl Gibson (o21) hit back for the F team, beating George Neary-Philips (o28).
Spencer Dawkins (o56) put the C team ahead again with his win over Pete Hodgson-Kerry (o28), and then Ian Gibson (r7) equalled the scoreline once again, beating Dave Pearson (o14).
It was down to Jason Green (o56) and Oliver Player (o28) to battle it out on the deciding frame, with Green taking the spoils 78-58.
Services D climbed four places following a 5-1 win over Donington C, who drop to seventh.
Wins for Joely Shears (r14), Paul Spicer (o21), Ian Smith (scr) and Russ Morse (o14) helped them to victory.
Services A have dropped two places to fourth, after they were beaten at home by Gosberton A.
Paul Wright (o21) and Jamie Mumby (o28) took the first two frames, giving Gosbeton the advantage, before Chris Dunmore (o42) and Martin Spencer (o28) levelled the score.
The decider was between Jake Haslam (o14) and Alan Jackson (scr), with Jackson emerging the winner.
A 5-1 win at home for Holbeach D has boosted them four places to fifth.
They beat Consti E, who are yet to win a match, thanks to victories from Denis Hix (r7), Andy Spearman (scr), Paul Daw (o28) and Wayne Fobelets (o21). Jack Chilvers (o28) got Consti’s solitary point.
In the bottom half of the table, Consti G have moved up one place, after beating Boundary A 4-2.
Martin Deacon (o14), Darren Woodberry (o42) and Mark Wilkinson (o14) got the wins in that one.
Services C got the better of Consti H, beating them 4-2.
Wins came from Jordan Philpott (scr), Kev Fitter (o14) and Nigel Cherry (o7), who took the decider on the black to beat Adam Mayman (o28) by a single point.
There’s no movement at the top of Division Two, with Holbeach A, Consti F and Holbeach E holding on to first, second and third respectively.
Holbeach A have gone five points clear, after a whitewash win at Whittlesey C.
The winning team consisted Steve Dent (scr), who played twice, Mat Smith (o28), Mark Woodberry (o56) and Stuart Atkin (o42).
Whittlesey remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table, having not won a match yet.
Consti F and Holbeach E hold their positions, despite both suffering 4-2 away losses.Consti F went down to Pyramid A, who move up one place to fourth.
Michael Twell (scr), Jim Benner (r14) and Norman Vaughan (o21) took the first three frames and the win, before Bryan Turnell (r14) and Justyn Stanley (scr) salvaged two points for Consti.
Holbeach E lost to Gosberton D thanks to James Parrott (r7), Neil Simmons (o14) and Keith Lungley (o28), who got a 28 break.
Pyramid B move up to fifth, after beating friendly foe Pyramid E 4-2.
Stephen Thomas (r14) started the E team off well, beating Gary Cooke (scr), before Pete Jackson (r7) equalised the score.
The E team went ahead again with a win from Adrian Sharpe (o28), before Carl Kelham (r7) and Richard Clark (o14) took the final two frames and the match.
Holbeach F moved up from ninth to sixth, with a 4-2 win over lowly Whittlesey A, who are yet to win a match this season.
Wins came from Susan Lefley (r28), Dan Mayfield (o28) and James Quinton (o14).
Holbeach B got the points in their match against Services B, winning 4-2.
Services started well, winning the first two frames courtesy of Jason Rose (o28) and Mark Spiller (o14), before Charlie Mullane (r21), Barry Haynes (scr) and Garry Cooke (o14) hit back, taking the match.
Last week’s Division Three leaders Boundary B didn’t have a game on Thursday, giving the teams around them a chance to jump ahead in the standings.
As Boundary drop to fifth, a 4-2 win for Consti D over Gosberton B saw them grab the top spot.
With the match tied at 2-2, it was down to Steve Moore (r21) and Stuart Ruskin (r7) to face off in the decider, with Moore taking the honours.
Consti A move into second thanks to their 4-2 win over second-from-bottom Donington B.
Wayne Wilding (o14), Paul Kent (r7) and Martyn Johnson (r21) were the winners for Consti, while Pete Burrell (o7) and Gav Lewis (o14) got the points for Donington.
Gosberton C remain in third, despite losing 4-2 to Consti B.
John Pike (r14) played twice for Consti, losing both games.
Consti J got the better of clubmates Consti I, beating them 4-2.
Winners for the J team were Nev Vickers (r14), Trev Braybrook (r21) and Adam Braybrook (o7).
Jonathan Smith (r21) and Phil Tweddell (r7) got the points for Consti I.
Holbeach G moved up two places to fourth, after they got a good 5-1 win over Whittlesey B.
Ben Harding (o42) knocked in a 38 break during his win over John Skutela (o7).
