A candle is thought to have been behind a fire that caused damage to a Spalding home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fire crews were called to the property in Havelock Street shortly before 12.30am.
Three fire crews attended the incident and stopped the fire from spreading further.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “There was significant damage by smoke to bedrooms in the property, and one individual was passed into the care of the ambulance service for smoke inhalation.
“Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera during efforts to extinguish.
“The cause is believed to have been accidental from a lit candle.”
