Pubs pour in support for boats

Two Spalding pubs have served up support to help keep the town’s water taxi running.

Both The Moorings on Commercial Road and The Waters Edge on River Bank have become ‘supporters’ of the not-for-profit organisation.

“We’re really pleased to have Kier, Kerri and Liam from The Moorings and those at The Water’s Edge on board,” said Anthony Grunwell, the Spalding Water Taxi operations manager. “Their financial contributions are so much appreciated.

“You too, can find out the many ways you might help to secure the future of this much loved and valued asset to Spalding life, its community and environment.

“I’m always happy to talk and chat about the many options available including the hiring out of self drive cruises.”

The boat is running every two hours from Spalding town centre and Spingfields on Tuesday, Friday and Sundays and hourly from both on Saturdays.
