The thickness of the post was all that stood between Pinchbeck United and a win at Thurlow Nunn League Division One North promotion-chasing Diss Town.

The hosts led at half-time but the Knights pulled level with 13 minutes to go thanks to a header from Harry Cranfield.
All three points looked to be heading back to Lincolnshire in the 87th minute when Josh Doran sent the ball goalwards but it hit the post and rebounded away.

l A new Pinchbeck United u18s girls team is being formed for the 2025/26 season.
Trials start on Wednesday, April 2 until Wednesday, May 28, 6pm-7.30pm at the Glebe Field, Knight Street, PE11 3RB. Contact the club directly for more details of the team, which will be playing in the Cambs Women’s and Girls’ League.
Players must be at least 15 on August 31.
