LETTERS – Springfields lights are a let down

Having lived happily in Holbeach for over 25 years and seen the growth of Springfields since its inception, I wandered around the light extravaganza titled “Winter Wonderland Walk” this week.
Well to say I was underwhelmed by the sparse lights, many of which have been used year in, year out.
Surely with the income this retail hub attracts from far and wide, it could put on a display that is value for money?
I would be embarrassed to charge anything for present efforts.
Why not put on a display which promotes this area and invest some of the profits made from the centre turnover?
