New school’s first remembrance

A new school at Whaplode has held its first event to mark Remembrance Day.

Tudor Lodge Therapeutic School is a day school for children who have an educational, health and care plan based off Little Lane.
On November 11 some of it students attended Whaplode Parish Church for a Remembrance service given by the Rev Barbara Hutchinson.
A spokesman for the school said: “During the service the children laid wreaths they had made in class, along with wooden crosses.
“These were laid in the area of Remembrance by the children.
“A special thanks goes to Rev Hutchinson who provided the service for the school.”
