Robert goes above and beyond

An 11-year-old who goes above and beyond for the town has been thanked by realising a dream of going gliding.

Robert Page, has collected thousands of tonnes of rubbish as a member of the Wombles of Spalding Common.
His efforts were noted by Coun Ingrid Sheard who offered to pay for a gliding trip for him.
He did that at Peterborough and Spalding Gliding Club near Crowland recently.
“He had a great time,” mum Annette Page said.
