Knights hit for six by Framlingham

Pinchbeck United were hit for six by Framlingham Town on Saturday.

The visitors to the Sir Halley Stewart scored a half dozen for the second time in a week with Max Willett netting his second hat-trick in five days and making it 17 for the season in the 6-1 victory.
He scored twice in the first half against the Knights and, after Johnny Kerridge made it 3-0, added his third and his team’s fourth after the break.
Pinchbeck were able to get a goal back with Flynn Slater netting from the penalty spot.
But Framlingham’s Harry Brown came off the bench to score two more for the Suffolk side who moved up into the Thurlow Nunn Division One North play off places with the win.
Pinchbeck slipped eight points behind the play offs but do have games in hand over most of those above them.
Lewis Thorogood’s side were due to take on the short away trup to Parson Drove on the Wednesday night before The Voice went to press.
Saturday sees them back in league action and on the road again, this time to third placed Suffolk outfit Harwich and Parkeston.
Knights: Martin, Jaine, Kacirek, Melson, Cranfield, A Wallace, Stevens, Howlett, Slater, Cullen, Ward. Subs: Brooks, Fieldhouse, Panton, Tate, Hoyle. Attendance: 55
