Birthday celebrations for Jean

Well known former dinner lady Jean Sauntson celebrated her 93rd birthday recently with family and friends at The Anglia Motel.

Jean, of Holbeach, was a dinner lady and cook at schools in Saracen’s Head and Holbeach Bank for many years before she retired.
She was presented with a bunch of flowers by Harold and Sylvia Payne, motel owners, to help mark her special day before the group of 15 then enjoyed a birthday meal at the motel, which luckily for Jean she did not have to prepare!
